I assume you mean that the machine is not switched on, but still fills up with water.Quote:

To solve this problem : First pump the machine completely empty, than start the washing cycle. As soon as water enters the tub, switch the power off. Switch on again, switch off again, etc. Just to get water pulsing through the valve to clean it from dirt.
Check after a couple of these on / off cycles the machine if the problem is solved. If not :
1 - DISCONNECT the power lead and put it on the ground in front of you: safety first!
2 - Remove the top of the washing machine.
3 - Close the water tap connected to the washing machine.
4 - Remove the hose to the washing machine.
5 - Disconnect the wiring and hose(s) from the electric valve.
6 - Remove the electric valve, and check if you see any dirt inside. If so remove that.
7 - If not go to a repair shop and ask them to try to clean the valve, or sell you a new valve.
8 - Reconnect everything and check the proper functioning of the machine.
If you keep having problems contact me again. May be your findings will help me to provide you with another (better) solution.
Success!
