    1040nr-ez or 1040nr
    Hi,

I am a little confused about which form to use. Summary of my taxes is below:

    1. I was in USA for the whole year 2007 and never went out of US.
    2. I have 3 (three) W2 forms
    3. I have a 1099-MISC form
    4. I am from India.

My question is which form should I use out of 1040NR-EZ or 1040NR?
I also want to know if there is a tax treaty between India and USA and if yes then how can I use that treaty?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Best,
    AJ

You will file 1040NR. The treaty benefit between India and the US allows you standard deduction.

Standard deduction means $3400 or $5000?
