I have oak hardwoods, sealed. I moved a piece of furniture and left behind on the floor two three inch deep scratchs. How can I fix this or do I need to call in a floor guy.

Ouch... I hate it when that happens. They do sell a filler you can use. It is available at most flooring stores or even some box shops. (menards,Lowe's,etc.. ) It does a fairly good job. You will see it and know it's there, however your company would more than likely never see it. There is a way to "pull" the scratches out if they are not to deep. It requires the use of moisture and an iron. If you need to go this route I would call a flooring company who specializes in flooring repairs. Trying to do it yourself can be dangerous. There is a fine line between the right amount of heat and too much. If you are not careful you can "burn" the wood, discoloring it which creates problem #2.

Hello!
You can repair the scratch in your oak floor, by using rubbing alcohol, cleaning the are where the scratch is, and then use repair wax stick, manufacture care kit, it should come with the colorant, so you can match the color to your entire floor. Spread the wax over the scratch and get down it into the crack totally.
Try to find some of the original finish to fill in that scratch with as well as you can. If you can make it cosmetically look okay and not so noticeable, then just leave it because, otherwise, it's going to get costly.
Best regards
