How to remove a single bathtub faucet.
Trouble removing bathtub faucet. Faucet has a handle and rotates from left to right in a circular motion (clockwise).

Many I have seen have a plastic piece in the middle that pops out with a fine tool, then remove the phillips underneath, then lift straight off.

If I follow the post correctly... you are having trouble removing the handle from your tub/shower valve... yes? If not, please let me know.

Like stratmando said... remove metal or plastic cover at handle and then loosen screw. Then, if won't pop off by hand, purchase a handle puller (see pic.) from home supply store... set it into handle and set puller so it sits behind the handle... tighten the puller and should pop the handle off your unit.

Why are you removing handle/valve.. Again, if I missed this, let me know... Talk soon all... Mark
