    Stripping plaster walls
    Hello,
Could you tell us the best way to strip paint off plaster walls? Our walls are in bad shape, peeling quite a few layers in spots that we were able to scrape off but not enough in others. We have a sander and paint ready for after we accomplish the stripping. We need something nontoxic since we have children.

    Thank you, rtnique

You could try a citrus based stripper. I would just scrap the loose stuff then use a joint compund to flatten it all out. How old is your house? You might want to test that paint for lead if it is older than the 80's.
