    Business licence
I would like to get a business licence for myself. It's selling seabiotics through my website, business cards and phone. Where do I start? Can I claim the business cards, phone and website on income tax?
Please help. Have never done anything like this before. I'm in Washington State.
    Thank you

In order for us to help you the best here, it would help to know where you are located. The laws about what you will need to conduct your business will vary from place to place. Thank you!

You go down to the city courthouse and get a business license.

Any income you make has to be reported to the IRS. So you keep track as a business, all of your income, all of the costs to do business.
You sound like you need to pay a CPA a hourly fee to give you some information on all of your deductions you need to keep track of, and all the record keeping.. Plus the laws for your area on taxes, often on internet items sold in your own state have to pay taxes, can vary by location
