I am not clear on question..
Are you asking how to repair leaky tile wall? How do you know it is leaking at tiles and not at the shower valve?
You said, caulk will not set in that area of tub... why?
Get back to me... Mark

Ok BJ... remove the chrome plate around the shower head... then run shower... see any drips?
Is this single handle tub/shower valve? Or is this two-three handle shower valve?
If single handle valve, remove handle and face plate and look behind the plate with a flashlight WHILE SHOWER RUNNING!
If two or three handle, remove handles, and with water running, divert from shower to tub a few times... any water dripping from places should not be dripping?
Could also be that 24 hours not quite long enough for moisture to evaporate from that particular area of the wall... may need to let dry 3-4 days depending on just how wet area is behind wall... maybe?
Let us know thoughts... Mark
