How do I get the Courts here in Texas to enforce my visitation order?
I have a child that I have not seen in a few years and I am paying child support on this child. Every time I try to see her the mother comes up with all kinds of excuses. I call the child support office and they stated they do not get involved in these matters. Is my only option to hire a attoney?

Child support and visitation are different and usually kept separate. So the Child support office would have nothing to do with enforcing visitation. You have to go to the court that issued the visitation schedule. They will order her to adhere to the scheduled or face contempt of court charges.

    Visitation courts
Thanks Scott. One more question. Will I have to hire a lawyer to do this or can I do it with out hiring one?

First, when participating in a new site like this, you really should try to browse around for a bit and see how the site works. First you scrolled past all the relevant forums and posted in Introductions which is marked as not for questions but just to introduce yourself. Then you post a follow-up question by starting a new thread when you should just add a reply to the thread. I fixed these for you by moving the first post and merging in the second.

You can try this without an attorney at first, though I wouldn't recommend it. Check with the Family Court clerk and ask what you need to do to file such a petition. You will need to document her refusal to let you have the child when you are scheduled to.

In some states you can bring the police with you if she refuses and they will talk to her so long as the court order is with you. If she fails to let the children go it can get messy from there because the police would have the right to take the children from her custody and give them to you and or arrest her. Or you can just get them to report the incident if she still refuses and you have a police report to take to court with you. The 3rd option is more then likely best for the children because it's the least traumatic.
