Any suggestions on killing off Ivy?
Does anyone have any successful methods of killing off a large quantity of English Ivy? I have a landscaping bed in the front of my home that ivy encompasses a great deal of. The previous owners of the home planted the Ivy years and years ago and no one has controlled it very well. We are not big fans of the look either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!!

You need to dig it up to successfully get rid of it totally. Just killing off the top part of the plant with weedkiller is not going to work as this stuff will just keep regrowing and regrowing.

I'd use Roundup Brush Killer. Not real cheap but it really works and its rain proof in hours. 1 Qt. Brush Killer

Blow-torches, grenades and salting the ground may slow it down, but you will have to dig and pull. My deepest sympathies
