If you click a video or movie on the internet and the view it are you downloading it then? And if you are how can you delete them?
Foe e.g... if your on you tube and you click a video did you just download it?
Because sometimes it ses loading...

A place like YouTube is not downloading anything onto your hard drive that needs to be deleted, no. Well, maybe they're leaving cookies or something, but I meant not how you're meaning it. It's loading into Windows Media Player (or whatever you're using).

But... any site can leave junk on your computer, like cookies (which may or may not be innocuous), spyware, etc. That has nothing to do with videos. I'm just noting that when it says "loading," it's meaning it's loading the video so that you can watch it, not downloading it onto your hard drive & getting left behind. The term is just confusing you. And YouTube of course isn't the only place with videos and no one could say about wherever else you're going without knowing where you're going.

Just generally be safe. i.e. have your security settings high enough. Run a virus scanning program. Download and run a spyware program on a regular basis. Some suggestions:

The fact is , anything that you can see on the screen of your monitor has left a trace on the hard drive. If you are watching a movie, it is being temporarily stored in the Temporary Internet Files. As the DOD states... "hard drives can be over written but never deleted." A complete reinstallation of the Operating system does not "erase" a hard disk.
A hard disk, once written on, always has some trace of what is written on it.
