Welcome to AMHD, where you can read, write, and enjoy a lot. The public schools in the area in which I reside do not use uniforms, and I hope they never do.

I had to wear a uniform my last year in middle school and I didn't see much difference in bullying. You would think that wearing a uniform every one is the same but that I NOT true. Some kids will have fancy brand tops and pants while others don't. Did you ever think about shoes? The competition then turns to who has the best and nicest shoes. Even hair styles. Bullying is a part of life, kids are mean no matter what. A bully is going to bully regardless. And a child who is consistently a victim will continue to be victimized, uniform or not.

I had a uniform at my school when I was that age. It is really easy and everyone looks the same, so nobody can say that they dress better than everyone else. They are affordable to buy or the school gives you the uniform. At first I HATED the uniform, but I got used to it and I wore it all the time. I loved it. :)

First off, all public schools, however great it is, have to take in some neighborhood student. And you know what that means.

That means that, yes, there will be some bullying. A lot less then non-uniform schools in my opinion.
