31 weeks pregnant with a lot of painful pressure
Hello everyone again, I am 31 weeks pregnant for those who don't know, and for the last 3days I have had just such painful pressure. It feels like someone is sitting on top of my belly trying to push something down, it's hard to breath and the baby is moving so much more. I can feel and see my lower abdomen moving if that makes sense to anyone. The pressure gets worse after I use the washroom, I have to pee every hour at least. What's going on this can't be stretching pain or can it?

As well my lower back is cramping quite a bit, which it never does.

Have you contacted your doctor? If not you need to call and see if they want to see you, you may be having contractions. If you aren't having contractions it's just a normal part of the last bit of pregnancy.

Hey J_9 thank's for the reply, I can't see my doctor till tomorrow but to answer your question I have not felt this kind of pressure before. I woke up last night with cramping in my lower back and stomach now I just have the pessure again.

I understand you may not be able to see your doctor, but you should give the office a call to see if they want you to come in, go to the L&D, or stay home.

This may be the beginning of labor, you could be dehydrated, or it could be normal for you. A phone call is really necessary.

So does every woman dear. I work in L&D, I know how you feel.

But, I would rather check out a gal, give her some IV fluids if she's dehydrated and send her home, than I would see her have a home delivery prematurely if it could be stopped.

Call L&D, that's what we are there for.

Keep me posted sweetie, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are either dehydrated, or that this is just your body acting toward the last few weeks of pregnancy.
