Is the monies you receive from your IRA protected
I have a judgement against me but they can't touch my IRA but can they touch the monies once I start receiving it like a pension?

Just curious: how would the judgment creditor"... touch the monies once (you) start receiving it like a pension?" Do you mean by levying or garnishing a checking or savings account? I believe the funds are "exempt" from creditor claims; before you begin to draw them, speak to an officer in the bank or credit union and find out its policy with regard to IRA funds that are placed in one of its accounts. You may have to provide your bank with some kind of notice about the source of funds in your checking/savings account.
