    Overheating Blazer.
I have a 95 Blazer that overheats about once a month. Where do I start? The water pump? The fan clutch? The thermostat? This has been going on for about six months now. If it was the water pump, shouldn't it have quit by now? I get heat. Thanks

Its not the water pump. You most likely have an intermitten(doesn't happen all the time) short in the fan relay.

Radiator might be clogged my truck is still overheating to and I think I need a new radiator. I put a new thermostat and water pump but didn't need to replace the fan because the fan on my truck is not a clutch or electrical fan it's belt driven. But I would say try the thermostat then if that doesn't work try flushing the radiator out

Thermostat was the cause of my car over heating, mine was sometimes sticking but it was not doing it all of the time. Or so that was what I was told, must have been true because when they changed it the problem went away.

Okay.. start the engine let the car warm up but don't let it overheat, open up the hood, Find the upper radiator hose. It's black, is made of rubber and is about 2 inches in diameter, with metal clamps on either end. The upper hose goes into the top of the radiator. Then find the lower hose its similar to the upper hose... touch each hose but be careful they can be extremely hot! After you warm up the car, then if one was hot and the other was cold, the thermostat stuck closed and you need to change it... otherwise it's the radiator, but I think your case has nothing to do with the radiator or the engine!
