    Monthly Rent Running Toilet
    I have a month to month lease is there a grace period of paying monthly rent ,also my toilet in the hallway bathroom has been running for over a month my property manager will not answer my telephone calls or return calls can I repair myself and deduct from the rent.

    If there is a grace period its listed in your lease. Some states do have laws requiring a grace period but most don't. You can find links to state laws at the top of the Real Estate Law forum.

    Some states have laws that allow you to use rent money to make a repair if the landlord doesn't. You need to check with your state housing department or the laws of your state.
