    file |result/infection|path
    !hosts |changed |!C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\host

I had spybots search and destroy 1 which was fine then I thort I would update it becausse theirs new spyware every day etc
could it be because I updated spybots search and destroy, because after I updated it that program kept bringing boxes up every now and then and if I didn't no what it meant I just clicked the x to close it is it possible that spybots changed it with out me saying so?

One thing you need to remember -- only have one spyware programs

Running at a given time -- some spyware programs don't play well together

I have used AVG and Spybot SD -- usually update and run scans on computer--

I would say you had am infected file -- AVG may not have been able to repair--

Spybot SD found the problem and changed it so the program can not operate

When it comes to programs to clean your computer -- one is not usually enough

everything was fine until I updated spybot sd to number 2 then it started with the random boxes popping up now n then.
would you reckon I do asystem restore? Mymate said that's what he would do but I'm not so sure about it,I've got loads of photos ill have to put on disc and music aswel and afew programes that I've recently installed, but will the system restore fix it? It only happened in February so if the PC will let me restore to January,I can't do before that because new hard drive was installed around new year
I don't have abloody clue all I no is that I use mypc everyday I do scans with avg n spybot I don't touch things that I don't know about,I didn't even knowtheir was a system32 until it came up on avg
