You might. It's only a form of id. It doesn't give you permission to do anything.

If you do get a passport do not think this automatiacally gives you the right to leave this country while you are still on probation. It's just another form of ID. Don't even think of trying to leave the country without prior written permission from your PO or they can and will detain you at the airport, etc. until your county comes and picks you up from their detention center.

You can get a passport, but to enter another nation you have to get a visa also. And of course you can't leave the area without your probation officers permission
