I have a MP3 player, which Windows XP will not detect in a user account (Computer Administrator)
But if I start in Safe Mode as Administrator it is detected.
Any idea why this is happening
Other USB devices are working as normal.

Not sure, try going to control panel and choose add new hardware to see if detected
