I have a shower in my basent that is cement based. I have scraped the old paint off the cement and have used a special paint to paint the cement. It has started to peel again and is very annoying! Can you tell me what would be the best paint to use? How do I get the old paint off? We use this shower everyday and it is peeling the most where the water runs to the drain. There has to be a solution somewhere because they paint the inside of pools. HELP! :confused:

If you must stick with paint then you need a marine epoxy. Use a paste paint remover and get every bit of the old piant off. Would consider installing ceramic or porceliein tile.
