Do you think Hillary is going to assure a McCain victory if she doesn't get out? Unless a miracle happens, she can't win the delegate count. All she can do is try to convince the super delegates to nominate her in spite of the popular vote.

Should she try that, and she will, it will in my view, not only insure a McCain victory, but it will destroy the Democratic Party. Do I think Hillary cares?? No, I think she will try ANYTHING to win, and that includes ruining her own party.

Does it matter? Neither Clinton nor Obama have a single iota chance of becoming the next president of the country that fights an illegal war in Iraq, and is losing it, just as it lost in Vietnam... Let McCain sort Iraq and Afghanistan out. His party put Bush on the throne, and it was Bush who created the Iraq and Afghanistan mess.

I am enjoying the Dem run . I think they will need the jaws of life to pry her from her campaign . No I don't think she has a chance either due to the proportional delegate game the Dems play instead of winner takes all .

I'm also amused at how many of the voters the Dems are disenfranchising .Fla ,Michigan ;trying to invalidate the results in Ohio (Cuyahoga County Board of Elections launched an investigation that could lead to criminal charges against voters who switched parties for the primary.)... Evita got more votes in Tx. But Obama got more delegates ;Dems freaking out over the prospect of cross over voters being Republicans trying to prolong the contest .

It is getting so intense that many Dems polled are now saying that if their candidate isn't selected they will either sit it out or vote McCain. McCain has positioned himself as the centrist ;both Dems are trying to outrace each other to the left. While they food fight McCain is doing his statesman thing.
He has been to Iraq . Obama doesn't appear to want to go to find the truth or is afraid to venture there . Hillary's narative is good fiction . She was exposed today as a complete fraud regarding her excellent Bosnian adventure .

I agree with you that if the Democrats cannot figure a way to win this election they may break up their act.

I am understanding, based upon commentary last night on FOX, that Obama is thwarting a redo in Michigan and Florida. After the exposure of his black racist proclivities, Obama can't beat Hillary; and Hillary can't beat McCain. I wrote several weeks ago that the Clintons risk divorcing the fractured, historic FDR coalition of blacks within the Democratic Party.

I believe what I said about Hillary. She's going to ruin the Democratic Party. Ordinarily, I would think that would give a big push to McCain...

However, the Republicans are in bigger trouble than the Democrats. Bush already broke that party.

Perhaps a shaking up of the parties is what the doctor ordered . It would not be the 1st time that time overtook major political parties in this country . There once was a Federalist Party and once a Whig party .

The fact that McCain is polling close to even shows how lame the Dem game plan has been to this point. Everything points to what should be an easy Dem. Win.

This campaign and the way it has been conducted has made me lose more faith in the US Government and the way it operates. It has been despicable. Ill take our system down under here anyday!

According to Hillary,"misspoke." However the archived media tapes proved today that she was either lying, delusional, or had a memory lapse thinking she was dodging bullets in Bosnia. I wonder how much more disorientated she is at three in the morning? I think it's fairly clear we don't need Hillary answering any White House phones. And BTW I more sure than ever that I don't want McCain near any red button, even if it is under lock and takes two keys to activate.

Who knows, maybe were moving towards a three party system. I know that there are more then three parties, but what 3rd party person ever had a shot?
Now I think if it was Mc.Cain V Obama V Clinton, there would be a good voter turnout and this thing would be real interesting.
Figure the people don't want to keep a republican in office after Junior screwed everything up, and the country is closely divided between obama and clinton, with obama on top.

I'd like to see what would happen if we, the people had more of a choice then the two bosos who are picked to run our country by the same companies and corporations who make contributions to the partys and campaigns, therefore holding the leverage in the scheme of things.

Good idea! A three party system: Hillary agrees to be McCain's Vice-P, the American Liberal Party; Obama runs as the American Socialist Party; and Romney runs as the American Conservative Party.

Yes, although I like Obama better than McCain pesonaly I am normally a life long republican, and to be honest McCain does not have to do anything right now, Hilary is doing everything possible to try and destroy Obama, so the "right" just has to watch and love it.

And in doing all of this, Hiliary is just destroying her own chances.
So for the Republicans, we want Hiliary and Obama to keep destroying each other, they are providing all the dirt the other side would ever need.

Actually recent poll numbers now suggest that since Barack's speech on racial issues he's actually back on track to keep his national lead over Hillary. Although it's such a close race and with the super delegates in the balance, the nomination could go either way. The crack Fox news commentary team are not only fearful of Obama, they apparently are math flunkies. Take for example that Obama was left completely off the ballot therefore received zero votes in Michigan and any redo would yield him some share of the state. In Florida, he could easily do better the next go around since he never campaigned the state. However the fact is that he's making Hillary Clinton eat her words on the redo because it was Hillary that originally supported penalizing the two states for moving up their primaries. She's being hypocritical on the issue now. Maybe she "misspoke" on penalizing those states, similar to being on a diplomatic mission in Bosnia ducking gunfire.
