    Green card denial
I have a permanent green card, but a couple of years ago I tried to help a brother bring his young daughter to us. I used false documentation for the girl. Immigration tore the document and now that it's time to renew my green card, immigration is now saying thaI tried to smuggled a human being. I did not know of this, until it was time to renew. What does immigratin do in these cases?

    Deport?

You tried to falsify information to bring an illegal alien into the country, that's a serious crime, you're lucky they did not prosecute you for a felony crime..

Charlotte is right. What you did was wrong, very wrong and the US government is not going to take this lightly in renewing your green card. It's not going to happen. You will probably be asked politely (or not so politely) to leave this country and not come back. It's called deportation. You knew what you did was wrong. Why does it now come as some big surprise? You just might get another follow up letter telling you to report to ICE as well.
