    Old bedroom suite
Can anyone help me find some info or place online where I can identify an old bedroom suite I inherited from my mother. All I know about it is it came from thomasville, nc and was supposed to be on of the first ones made in thomasville factories. She got it from her oldest sister and she was the youngest of 12 siblings. I believe it to be made somewhere from1910-1930.I would like to learn the pattern or style of these pieces. No members of the family survives for me to find out anything.

    Thanks

Hankfully Thomasville is a big name in furniture so identifying it is hopeful.

Look all over each piece for any sort of numbering or labeling. Typically something indicating the style, lot, etc. will be found stamped on the back of headboards, dressers or bureaus - or on the underside of tables/stands. Check everywhere - even on drawer backs or bottoms.

Once you've got something from it, Google antique AND furniture AND 123456 using numbers or words you found on them.

Let us know if you come up with anything stamped on any of the pieces and we'll help you track it down.
