I work at abusiness that has three kitchens and I do not have hot water. There are coffee makers hooked up and they hot water spigets with hot water but the faucets don't. Can anyone help me?

You are telling us that the three kitchens at your work place do not have hot water.. The coffee makers produce their own hot water via a heating element.. so that has nothing to do with anything related to hot water issue.. ok?

Is this a new development? Or has it always been this way? I would really need to know HOW they heat their water... by water heater (if so, what kind, gas or electric) or by boiler (indirect system with storage tank).

Try to get back to us with more information... including why this is an issue of concern to you... shouldn't the boss be worrying about this on his off time.. ;)
