Could you give some more information?

Did the sound on your computer ever work?
What Operating system do you have (windows xp maybe?)
Could you give me the make and model of your computer , look for a label that tells you the model of the computer and the serial number.

It might be that you need to install drivers (these are small programs that your computer hardware needs to work) , if you give me the above info I try and find them for you .
