Can someone give me some tips or advice on how to organize thoughts and points for a legal document, more specifically a Motion in Family Court?

Lots of forms on line - did you check? None of them terribly specific but you'll get the picture. Look under Motion in family court (or something similar).

Is this about the $20,000+ in back child support? I think I'd have an Attorney prepare the papers - that's a LOT of money to pay out if you lose.
