    Kenmore Washer spins sometimes
    Hello
I have a kemore washer about 3 years old and it seems to spin once in awhile the model number is 11024632300. What I have to do is manuelly spin it by hand to get it to spin, what could be the problem? I hear the motor running and it drains the water out but no spinning unless I spin it by hand to get it going.

If you get it spinning by turning it first by hand - without any further problems - that indicates that the spin motor has a problem. The motor consists of two different motors, one for washing, and one for spinning.
The spinning circuitry may be electronic (you can adjust any setting) or semi-manually (you can preset 2 or 3 speeds.
If electronic there is little you can do yourself. Get a specialist to repair it.
If semi-manual there must be a capacitor that provides a second magnetic field that allows the motor to increase spinning speed. That capacitor most probably is faulty.
Please check the specifics of your machine and email me the info : click my handle for email.
    Success!
    ;)
