I would like to paint my kitchen cupboard doors, but I have been told that they should be ployethene how do I go about this. Can you buy this paint or do I have to get an professional to this task for me. I live in the sutherland shire, NSW any help would be appreciated. Thank you

With Kilz to prime and white glossy Pratt and Lambert waterproof paint,

They Turned out BEAUTIFULL!! __ New knobs finished them off.

Like to add that I usually add Flotrol FLOOD 0610 ADDITIV PAINT FLOTROL QT to my paint to get a glassy smooth finish. Oil base paints were the best for many years but there are some great latex acrlic paints that can be even better. Biggsie is corrcet about not trying to cut corners with paint. I'd use a brush first to get the edgees and then a very short nap roller for the flat surfaces assuming you don't have access to spray equipment which would be better.

I have been a painter for years- Here is what you do-
First- Do you want to use oil or water based paints?
After you decide- sand the areas that you want painted- use kilz first- then sand lightly.
Then if using oil base paints do not glob on the paint two thins coats for better then one heavy coat. Remember to sand light between coats of paint.
