What are the chances of pregnancy?
So, my nerves are pretty much gone after wondering for a few days whether my girlfriend maybe pregnant. We've been considering all the factors, trying to convince ourselves it's fairly unlikely. We had unprotected anal sex about 6 days ago, but I didn't ejaculate. Also, being somewhat paranoid about the whole thing, though we know it isn't the most effective way, we tried to dry off the pre-ejaculate before I got near her. However, at one point she said that my penis may have slipped and touched the outside of her vagina. She dried it immediately and later showered and washed off. Now it's been 6 days and we're waiting for her period so we know for sure. In addition to all of that, about 3 days ago she began to have the early symptoms she said was the beginning of her period; but now she says is just nausea. I'm worried it could be morning sickness, though I've heard it usually doesn't set in until around the 6th week of pregnancy. What are the chances she is pregnant or not?

You can buy a home pregnancy test for around $10.

Unlikely that she is, not impossible, but unlikely. Remember, all it takes is one sperm.

Now that I've put your mind at rest I'm going to give you some advice. Why aren't you using protection? Condoms are not that expensive, raising a child is. How does it feel to be playing this waiting game? Why are taking the risk of conceiving a child that you are not ready for?

Really, it's simple, unprotected sex can and does cause pregnancy, there is a 20% chance of getting pregnant every time you have unprotected sex. Put it in to perspective, if someone told you that there was a 20% chance of death if you crossed the street before looking both ways, would you chance it? I don't think so.

Bottom line, use protection, learn from this mistake and don't make it again!
