    Dying natural red hair
    Hello,
Im a guy with natural red hair, I'm kind of sick of having red hair.
I've seen a couple guys that have natural red hair that have dyed it lightish/dark brown and it looks great. About 5years ago I tried to dye my hair a light brown, I think I left it on too long as my hair went completely black which looked stupid, which looked more stupid when I got red re-growth.
Now the question is, how can I get my hair darker, I want a light brown colour although still with slight red tones.. I have short hair and like to keep it relatively short.
    Any advice please?
    Thank you heaps

Nath, your hair disaster could have been prevented if you've used a green-based ash hair color to tone down the red and make more brown. To avoid another hair, please go to a salon and have a hair stylist do a color correction. The stylist will be able to fix your hair by mixing the right base hair color with a peroxide developer to achieve results. He/she can also give you tips on how to maintain your new hair color.
