    Negative first response
I took a first response test Thursday and it was negative. I was 2 weeks late then now I am 2 weeks and 2 weeks 3 days (17 days late). My last period was feb. 6th and I do believe I am pregnant I'm not stressing out and I'm not obsessive but I have little signs that are starting to appear that I've never experienced before. Such as tiny stomach cramps not like usual more like little tingly pains every now and then, back soreness, moodswings, I cry at some of the most unusual things for example (dance shows)?? I'm tired but its hard for me to get comfortable to go to sleep. My stomach is tough under the skin it feels like there is a brick in my stomach but only around my hips and navel. My question is... Is it normal for someone who is pregnant to show negative hpt results at 2 weeks late? And If I am not pregnant then why am I experiencing these little signs could there be a different reason? I have decieded to take another test on the 31st if I still have not started, and if I have not started by then I am making a dr's apt. whether the results are positive or negative. Is this the right thing for me to do?

    Cutoo
I'm 26 days late, my last period was Jan 25th - and still no sign of AF. I tested at day 6 and day 19 of being late and got a negative w/ 1st response the 1st time, and then an online hpt the 2nd time... I'm feeling some symptoms as well - but don't give up - I've heard cases that women don't have enough hcg which is why their tests aren't reading as positive just yet... so don't give up. I too am going to re-test at the end of the month and then if still a neg/AF hasn't appeared I'll make a Dr's appt. good luck and keep us posted :)

If you're that worried about it then make a Doctors appointment now. It's a simple blood test and then you'll know for sure and can plan your future.
