Does anybody have any good suggestions for window coverings over a french door window? During the summer, the sun is pounding through those doors. At other times, I would like to be able to catch the view through the doors.

I initially considered blinds, but where does the cord go when the blinds are pulled up? Thanks.

They install cord cleats to wrap the cord around after raising the blinds. See pics. Below. These cleats are installed between 4 to 8 inches or so apart from each other.. then cord wrapped between them (especially at french doors)... Anyway, just a thought. Good luck.
