Has anyone played these two games as I was wondering if they are worth buying

Ah, I know this is way later than when you asked the question, sorry just joined. About the two games. If you like really really long rpg's (like 60-70 hours) they are both really great games. FF8 though is an original playstation one game so the graphics are kind of dated now. FFX looks great has a wonderful story and is just fun. I highly recommend both games.
