I need help hooking up my TV to dishnetwork DVR. When the guy came and hooked it up the first time he put the main box in the living room. When he hooked up dish net work in the computer room, he didn't have a box and everything worked. When we had a big strom the lighting crashed the TV in the living room, so we moved the TV in the computer room to the living room and hooked everything up just fine. Well now we want to move the TV back in the computer room. When we did that, we hooked up the cord coming out of the wall like we're suppose to, but there is no picture. It's just that static screen and I don't know how to hook it up. Please help me.

You'll most likely have to call out the expensive guy from dishnetwork to do this as something got fried in the storm and only they know how to fix your problem.

Don't call an Expensive Sat Guy, He is not the only person, Could be a disconnected cable, different input to select. Verify cables hooked correctly.
Sounds like You are saying TV and Receiver work, but when hook to satellite line no good.
Could even be 1 of the LNB's outputs, or multiswitch output, swaping cable at LNB may fix to Living Room Location.

Or you could have cables hooked up backwards make sure the in from wall goes to sat box, then out from sat box goes to TV.
