    Wanting to be a mom
I have never had regular periods. The last period I had was on Nov. 16th. When I have my period it is always on the 16th. This month I very lightly spotted from the 12th to the 15th. This has never happened to me. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year. Its so hard because every time I miss my period we get our hopes up? Is there anything I can do? Can I even get pregnant being so irregular?

You may be able to conceive being that irregular, but there are also medicines and hormone therapies that can regular your cycles and ovulation, improving your chances of conception. You should definitely make a doctor's appointment and ask about how you can increase your chances of conceiving.

I would set an appt to see your doctor. They will do a pre-pregnancy work up to check your hormones etc.
They will also discuss your periods. I too, had very irregular periods... but I still managed to get pregnant with my daughter while on birth control! But now that me and my husband are trying... it's not so easy. My periods went from just "irregular" to nonexistant. My OBGYN has me on Prometrium. It is a medication to help induce and regulate your cycle. So that may be something to try :)

    Good luck!
