Non-resident Alein 1099-Misc with no Fed Income tax withheld
    Hi,

I am an international student on F1 since 2006 in US. Apart from W2 forms, I have a 1099-Misc form too. It has zero in all the fields except for the box 3. Other Income.

    1. I was wondering if I have to use 1040NR-EZ or 1040NR to file my taxes.

    2. If you could provide box details on where to fill this info in 1040NR-EZ.

    Thanks a lot
    AJ

    1) You need to use Form 1040NR and report the income either on Schedule C or on Line #21 (Other Income).

Need to know the nature of the Form 1099 income to give further guidance.
