Hi I have a laptop computer HP 8000 It seems to have problem after problem with Java I can't get on line any more so I think if I wipe clean the computer and install the osd again it will solve the problem .

But how do I wipe the computer clean for free

Boot to your XP CD and follow the on screen instructions for installation.
Part of the install process is a format (wipe) of the drive.
