I am on a J1 visa and came here June 2005. I am a not a student but a researcher and I understand that after two years I will be considered as a resident alien.

My two years fininsh on June 2007 so will I file tax for 2007 as a resident alien or am a supposed to do dual tax

Normally the two years mean two tax years that is 2005 and 2006. So for 2007 you will file as resident.
