    Boyfriend eviction
My boyfriend and I moved into his grandmother's home two years ago with the intent to buy eventually. When we could not buy the house due to credit, his father bought the house and has allowed us to live there for the last three months for 200.00 a month. My boyfriend and I got into a fight and he told me to pack my belongings and leave. I of course wouldn't want to stay there if things didn't work out anyway, but I would like to know the law, and what I can do. My child and myself are in school and my baby goes to daycare and I cannot move us all before the summer? Please help?

If you paid rent on a monthly basis then you are a month-to-month tenant. That means that they have to give you at least 30 days advance written notice that your tenancy is terminated. If you haven't left after the 30 days is up then they can file a lawsuit for eviction. I suggest that you start looking for a new place asap.
