I kind of need some help on a situation and I am hoping you guys could help me on. There is this guy that I have been on a few dates with that I really seem to like. The dates that we have been on we have held hands and kissed. Innocent fun. So I asked him the other night what he thought about me. I wasn't implying that he become my boy friend the next day, but just curious if he had the same interest in me that I had in him. He then told me that he wasn't ready for a relationship at the moment. And I respect his decision. But he told me that if we continue to talk that maybe we could eventually give it a try. I don't think I am ready to give up on him just yet. I really don't know what to do. With me saying all that should I give him some space and let him be the one to contact me again? Pretty much the ball is in his court so to speak so he has to be the one to let me know what he wants next. I am so confused and would really appreciate any advice you guys could give me.

Give it time. If it was meant to be it will. Honesty as corny as it sounds is always the best policy.

He Probably didn't want to come across as being to anxious so he gave the I'm not ready for a relationship right now line. I've done it to girls that I am interested in but didn't want to come across as needy. I say keep things the way they have been and it should work it's self out.

Maybe so. Because I know if I wasn't interested in someone I wouldn't go on more then one date with someone and kiss them and things if I didn't like them. So I guess with the kissing and holding hands thing that showed some remote interest. And another thing. Should I call him or let him call me? I don't know. I am still puzzled.

I agree I wouldn't go through more then 1 date if I was not interested in someone. I definitely would not hold someone's hand I am not interested in either. Call him I and see what he is doing this weekend. The worst thing he can say is I already have plans.
