Just bought a new home and whoever vacated took the toilets and sinks out of the bathrooms. Can someone give me a very rough idea of what I should expect to pay for this? Assuming that I am picking up the tubs/sinks.

I am an Electrical/Security Contractor. I don't see more than 2 hours of work.
Things are not always as they seem.
If you wanted to make it easy and quick for Plumber, you might have on hand the supply lines for Toilet and Sink, The Wax ring for under toilet, the bolt kit, You will also need the drain parts for the Diameter of the sink Drain.
Some Contractors have no problem with the Correct parts supplied.
Some want to use their own, could be quality thing or profit thing.

Need to measure the toilet rough in to be able to purchase the correct toilets.

Measure from the finished wall to the center of the drain pipe in floor. Typical number is 12". Numbers can, however, vary between 10" and 14". A 10" and a 14" measurement would reduce the options available to pick from and increase the dollars being spent as these are not common toilet rough in numbers... special order most of the time. YOU HOPE that the measure is between 11.5" and 13"... this will be considered a 12" rough in toilet and has the best options and the best pricing. I recommend kohler/american standard/toto toilets. All good brands!!

Then need 2 toilets
2 toilet seats
2 wax gaskets with horns
2 regular wax gaskets
2 pr. 5/16" johhni bolts
2 3/8" compression x toilet nut x 12" braided toilet supply (for water)
Depending on condition of closet flange and type of closet flange (cast iron or PVC) you may also need to purchase a spanner flange or may even need to replace the closet flange. The plumber will be able to tell you when he gets there.

Sinks.. again, dependent on pipe type... let me know what kind of pipes and I can give you pretty good list of things to purchase.

I haven't had a chance to measure yet. By finished wall, you obviously mean the wall where the back of the toilet will be? Pretty sure inspector told me the pipes were pvc.

As for sink, I think there are no pipes coming from the wall. Hopes this helps for a follow up answer.

Yup! Measure from the wall behind toilet to the center of drain... do not measure off the wood baseboard... but off the wall itself to drain/flange center.

PVC pipe.. good, so no corroded flange issues here... if lucky! And pipes at sink should be easy to hook, too.

The sinks.. I am confused a bit. You said in last post... "no pipes coming from the walls".. Can you clarify this statement... Thank you

Whatever pipe you would normally see from the sink to the wall is not there, that's all.

Where the sink goes, you will need a Hot, Cold, and a Drain. If you don't see those, You MAY have a problem. If you have sink or Vanity, momentarily put in place, tape the wall where vanity will be. Don't open wall beyond this. You may want to call a plumber.
Hopefully all are behind wall at sink location.

Is their 3 pipes sticking out of wall? At both vanitys.

So went in last night... measure from wall to toilets, one was 13.5, other 13... but both had 12in soft pipes coming from the wall, so..

As for the sinks, settled for one small vanity (30 in wide) one bigger (36 in wide). In both bathrooms there were short curved pvc pipes coming from the walls for the sinks... would have remembered 3 pipes.

Do the pipes coming out of vanity look like the ptrap picture below? If so, that is good (pipes are usually 1.5" going to bathroom sinks). And the water pipes at sinks...are they there? I mean the copper pipes now..not the connectors.

And what did you mean by "both had soft pipes coming from the wall"..?

The toilet measures:

I would install a 14 " rough toilet at the 13.5 inch rough in and
I would install a 12" rough in toilet for the 13 inch rough in... ok?

Yeah, the toilets have a 12 in "soft" meaning like a thick woven cloth, bendable pipe coming from the wall.

And, yes the sinks have that ptrap there.

The bank that I'm buying the house from is obviously making me take care of this before we close, and the plumber has to be licensed and bonded.

My realtor has a guy that will do it for $360. Sounds like a lot, I just dropped $1K on the toilets and vanities.

At each sink you need 3 pipes(1 drain, and a hot and cold supply).
Sounds like you have no hot or cold?
