I have a two year old lawn tractor that will not stay running. It ran a few weeks ago but has spent some time in the weather.
I get a spark, and can get it to run a short time with starting fluid. The fuel filter does not fill up with fuel but fuel does get to the carburetor, I detached the hose and I get fuel to run out when cranking. The fuel flow does not seem very substantial.
I don't think it is a fuel pump issue. I plan to change the fuel filter and the plugs just because it has been a while. Do you think this will fix my issue, if not what do you suggest?
Thanks
Mike
