    Loan co garnishment
Last Friday my husband called the to find out that 1200 was on a pending hold for a loan that I borrowed 3 years ago and we live in SC which there are laws against that I thought and the bank says there is nothing that they can do about it that the loan company will have to send release papers to the bank but they will not do it WHY!

Why would there be a law against it? Were you aware of a judgement againt you by the loan co? Do you owe this money (as you seem to indicate)?

Unless you had a written agreement outlining a payment plan that was being kept to, thhey can use any legal means available to recover what you owe.
