Boyfriend's bm won't let him see his baby
My boyfriend has a daughter about a year and a half old by another women. Around 8 years ago, though, he had sex with someone he thought was over-age and found out after they split up (they had been "dating") that she was underage. After the split up she said that the sex had not been consensual and he got a rap for it. Back to present, his BM knows about this and is using it against him to stop him from seeing his daughter. He pays child support, but not through the attorney general. He pays his BM direct. He has kept copies of all of his money orders showing that he has paid her. My question is what can he do to see his daughter? He's supporting her and hasn't seen her in quite some time. It's breaking his heart, but we don't know where to go from here. Is there anything we can do? Please help. This is really important.

Ok, he needs to go to court and get a court ordered visitation of the baby.
This will also spell out the child support requirements and other requirements.

So what that he did a crime many years ago. How is this being "held" against him. This should have no difference in the child visitatin hearing at the court.

Have him get an attorney now, and sue for visation rights. This lady is taking him for a ride and using the child as a weapon.

    Hi, alicaid,
    The other answer is great.
If he is paying child support, he has a legal right to see his daughter.
He might have to get a lawyer, to follow his/her advice, on what to do.
