    Briggs 18.5HP valve adjustment
    How do I adjust the valves on my Intek OHV 18.5HP? The rocker adjustment doen't seem to work. Is it in the valve caps? Does it take Shims?

    Put the piston at top dead center, then 1/4" turn clockwise more, one quarter of an INCH more, then set the valves, somewhere around .006 intake, and .008 exhaust.
