    Sodium free chips
I have been diagnosed with hereditary high blood pressure. So what are some low sodium chips or chip alternatives?

Utz makes a no salt potato chip; http://www.utzsnacks.com/products/regchips.html; they aren't too bad.

My dad was on a sodium-restrictive diet because of health problems, he would often snack on rice cakes or chips made with rice products instead of potato. He was also diabetic so would snack on veggies with dip; that way he would get lots of flavor, and the crunchiness chips give you.

There are a ton of low-sodium/no-sodium products on the market right now; you can find bread, soup, chips, jams, ketchup... frozen and prepared foods are usually still pretty high, but if you do a little cooking for yourself you can keep your sodium intake pretty low.

Check the market where you shop, There are quite a number of brands that are sodium free, as well as low fat or no fat, tend to have a bland taste, but it serves the pupose if you like chips.
