    Older Murray riding mower
I have a "96 model Murray "widebody" 48"cut riding mower. It has a B&S 18 1/2 h.p. twin cylinder motor - model #42A707. The model of the actual mower body is missing (supposed to be under the fold up seat). I need to get part numbers for various belts... main drive belt... secondary belt and a long thin trans belt for the Hydro trans. Somehow, somebody should be able to take the above information and cross reference a 48" cut Murray mower... It seems that not too many were made and for not too many years but since the bankruptcy of Murray... information, diagrams and owners manuals seem to be long gone. Somewhere, in my research, I have a code#9610225A and a type... 1653 01 and a model number of 42A707. Please help because the tractor /motor is in real good shape but the deck has many worn parts... Over the years, I've replaced all three blades, all three spindles and all pulleys but I really need a diagram of the mower body with part numbers, etc... HELP!

Well actually in the later 90's, there are different belts for what is seemingly the same mowers. How are you coming up with the year of '96?

I have a 2002 42"cut Murray riding mower. It has a B&S 15 h.p. - model #313707. The model of the actual mower body is 425612X99A. I need a digram on how to change the drive belt. Any help will be very appreciated.
