    Foreclosure Summons on Rental Propery(Florida)
We are renting a house in Florida that I just found out is being foreclosed on. Our landlord won't answer any of our phone calls. We have had problems with our landlord since we signed our 1-year lease on December 18, 2007... mainly him not answering any of our phone calls in reference to small problems at the house and he insists on picking our rent check up at the house, now we know why :(

We want to know what our rights are?

Is our lease still valid until December 31, 2008?

Can the bank evict us and how fast?

What happens to the $1,400.00 security deposit I paid to the landlord?

Should I not pay him next months rent in lieu of just losing our security deposit?

According to the foreclosure papers we received today he has not made his mortgage payment since September, 2007... He was THREE months behind when he entered into the contract to rent us this home.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Should we contact an attorney?
