My ford explorer brake lights and rear defrost went out... I have checked the bulbs, the fuses, and the brake light switch. What could be the problem??

Could be your body control module, and when you say you checked the brake light switch, what did you do to check it

I went and bought another one placed it on and the problem still wasn't fixed
