    Abandon mobile home
I recently purchased a pacel of land under a Tax lien sale in Georgia . However there is an abandon mobile home on the property and no one can locate the owner. It was repossed by the Small Business Administration who has considered it abandon. I have paid the taxes on the mobile home for two years. Do I have any legal right to it. If so how would I go about getting a title to it.

Contact the SBA and ask them how to get title to it. You may have to go to court to have the owner's interest severed.

First when did you purchase the land in GA, since you do not in GA have access or legal rights to the land until the redemption period is over and you actually get the tax deed of the property.

A mobile home is not normally part of the property but is considered personal property in GA, thus the mobile home tax is not included in real estate tax but will be paid as a personal property tax in GA. And the mobile home will have a title, that would be registered, ( similar to a auto)

You will have rights to the trailer but only after you have done a lien and did a repo with the state to get a title to it.

Gephill talk to your tax commissioner. The law governing mobile homes in Georgia is going to be changed in the present legislative secession Abandoned mobile homes will be treated like abandoned autos.
