    I forgot the ask, why do you want to go this route rather than just downloading the apps on to the other machine ?

    In that case why not get some replacements

    AVG is good and free AV
    A couple of good removal tools are Spybot and Adaware

    ALso an on line virus and spyware scanner is Trend Housecall

    Hope all this lot helps;)

    *any home network: YES, LINKSYS, BOTH ARE HARDWIRED AT THIS TIME
    *internet connection: SATELLITE (DIRECWAY)
    *your level of knowledge: INTERMEDIATE NEW BUSINESS OWNER
    *what scanners you are thinking of using: AVG ANTI, COUNTERSPY, REG. MECH.

    Since they are networked, you can map the drive of the machine you want to scan on the other PC then just scan the drive letter. Lookup Map Network drive in XP Help for details on how.
